HI!. I am KM Dela Torre and I’m a reader. -- was a reader, actually, because it has been a while since I last held a paperback in my hands and teleported myself to lands unknown and places imagined by brilliant authors. Thanks to technology -- especially my stupid smartphone, I cannot claim to be a reader anymore. Video games, and online games, my friends, have distracted me from the virtuous nerd I claimed myself to be.

 

I am what some may call a serial reader. I follow series and exhaust all means to track down all I can find written by my favorite authors to satisfy my craving for a good story. But there’s a dilemma: I am frugal by nature, and when it comes to personal expenses, I am stingy as they go. I wouldn't buy a book unless it’s on sale. No, scrap that. I’ll only buy it if it’s dirt cheap. I mean the bottom  shelf of the thrift store and unshelved entries from my favorite second hand bookstore. 

 

But anyway, back to serial reading: There is a certain euphoria that goes with following the growth of your favorite character or finding yourself more and more immersed in this parallel universe you can only visit while reading this beloved series. You simply have to get back to that specific portal in time and space and……… ok, I really sound like a nerd now, and I am rambling. Point is, I follow authors and featured in this website are a few of my favorites. I took the liberty of linking ebooks too, If I can find them, so y’all could read and enjoy them as well.
